Frequently Asked Questions
How Old Do I Need to Be for a Piercing?
We pierce ear lobes of any age! We pierce regular cartilage for ages 12 and above. You need to be 14+ for all other body piercings except septums, lips, and cartilage at 16 years old and nipples and genital piercings which require you to be at least 18 years old.
Do I Need to Bring ID Proof?
We ask that you produce a valid government-issued photo ID as proof of your age at your appointment. If you’re below the age of 18, please bring a parent along to sign the parental consent form. Parents must also provide a valid government-issued photo ID for themselves, and for their child. ID’s for minors must have their name and date of birth listed on the ID.
Should I Book an Appointment?
If you’ve decided on the type of body piercing you’re going to get, go ahead and book your appointment by clicking HERE (Clemson Appointments Only!). However, if you’d like to speak to one of our experienced piercers before making a decision, feel free to call us or come in during normal business hours. Please note that even though walk-ins are welcome for piercings, scheduled appointments will take priority based on availability.
Can I Use Hydrogen Peroxide or Alcohol to Clean My Piercing?
DO NOT use any type of alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to clean piercings. Doing so can cause severe irritations and further complicate or delay the healing process. Our piercers will walk you through the aftercare process during your appointment. If you are unsure about something, please get in touch with us and we will be glad to help!
Will the Piercing Scar My Skin?
Since piercing punctures tissue, you could experience mild scarring on your skin. However, if you follow the proper aftercare prescribed by your technician, your skin will heal and should not lead to any complications.
Can I Get a Piercing if I’m Pregnant?
DHEC prohibits us from doing piercings on anyone who is or may be pregnant. However, we are glad to assist you with change-outs and tapers!
